Gu Yu, or Grain Rain, marks the end of spring and the coming of summer.
谷雨，是中国传统节气里二十四节气的第六个节气，同时也是春天里最后一个节气。

Grain Rain is the sixth solar term of the Chinese traditional 24 solar terms and the last in spring.
雨生百谷，樱桃红、茶山绿，山间的梯田蓄满了水，青秧插满田。
Spring rain brings forth vitality to plants now that cherries turn red, tea mountains are clothed in green, the irrigated rice paddies glitter in the sunlight, and grain seedlings grow well in the fields.
在这个重要的农耕节气，在贵州黔东南一座古老的侗寨——肇兴侗寨，侗族人民都会上演一场狂欢。
The solar term points to an important farming season which the Dong people living in Zhaoxing Dong Village, an ancient Dong village in Qiandongnan Prefecture, hold a yearly carnival to celebrate.
“谷雨节”作为侗族的传统节日，有着和过年一样的地位，其中隐藏着侗族独特的历史文化和风土人情。
As a traditional festival of the Dong ethnic group, the Guyu Festival or Grain Rain Festival is as important as the Spring Festival. It demonstrates the history, culture, and customs of the Dong ethnic group.
